Geely has introduced the 2027 Starray Plus and updated Monjaro in Iraq, presenting both SUVs in Baghdad. Each is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine rated at 245 hp and 380 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both also offer intelligent all-wheel drive, while their quoted fuel-consumption figures differ: 8.7 liters per 100 km for the Starray Plus and 12.6 liters per 100 km for the Monjaro.
The Starray Plus is built on Geely’s CMA platform and offers six driving modes, including Eco, Sport, Comfort, Snow and Off-road. Its cabin includes a 15.4-inch central infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument display and a 25.6-inch augmented-reality head-up display. The audio system has 16 speakers, and driver-assistance equipment includes Level 2 systems, adaptive cruise control and a 540-degree camera. Wheel sizes are 18 or 19 inches.
The Monjaro reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in 7.6 seconds. Its adaptive CCD suspension scans the road and adjusts its response every 20 milliseconds; Geely says the system improves ride smoothness by 33%. The model has a 2.845-meter wheelbase and 20-inch wheels. Inside are a 15.4-inch central screen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, with a 25.6-inch head-up display available on the GF trim. Its equipment also includes ventilated and massage seats, a 16-speaker sound system and Level 2 driver assistance.
