GWM has expanded its Haval H6 range in Chile with the H6 Hybrid Deluxe 2WD, a self-charging hybrid that joins the model’s gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions. The company says the H6 has sold more than 13,000 units in Chile and over four million worldwide. The new variant is priced at CLP 23,990,000 at launch, including a CLP 1,200,000 financing bonus, and is offered in four colors.
Its powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 147 hp and 230 Nm with an electric motor producing 174 hp and 300 Nm. Combined output is 240 hp and 530 Nm, sent to the front wheels. GWM cites homologated fuel-consumption figures of up to 28.6 km/l, 19.2 km/l in mixed driving and 16.1 km/l on the highway. The battery charges without needing an external plug. The five-seat SUV measures 4,703 mm long and has a 560-liter trunk.
Equipment includes a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a panoramic roof. Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera and driver-assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane support, blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking. GWM provides a five-year/150,000-km vehicle warranty and an eight-year/150,000-km warranty for the hybrid system.
