Great Wall Motor has revealed the second-generation Wey Lanshan in China, with the new SUV scheduled to go on sale there by the end of 2026. It pairs a boxy exterior and luxury-focused equipment with seating for either five or six. The Lanshan is described as a more powerful, more upscale counterpart to the Haval H10; the first-generation model is sold in some overseas markets as the Wey 07.

The five-seat version measures 5.14 metres long, 2.05 metres wide and 1.96 metres tall, with a 3.01-metre wheelbase. The six-seat configuration stretches to 5.3 metres. Despite its rugged look, the Lanshan uses a unibody structure rather than a separate body-on-frame chassis. Exterior details include 21-inch wheels, roof-mounted lidar, cameras on the front fenders and a side-hinged rear door carrying a spare wheel.

Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine rated at 244 hp, two electric motors and a four-speed DHT hybrid transmission. Combined output reaches 687 hp. A two-chamber air suspension and rear-wheel steering are also specified. Buyers can choose a 53.6-kWh battery with a WLTC electric range of 220 km or a 66.6-kWh pack rated for up to 270 km. The report gives no price information.
