Chery-owned Jetour has introduced an expanded T1 lineup in China, where the SUV is sold as the Freedom 7 and Freedom 7 Plus C-DM. Nine versions are offered across three powertrain configurations, including newly added 1.5-liter petrol models. Promotional prices start at 89,900 yuan (about 346 million dong), compared with list prices of 113,900 yuan and above for the 1.5T range.

The standard T1’s 1.5-liter turbo engine produces 181 hp and 290 Nm, paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. The longer T1 Plus uses a 2.0-liter turbo engine rated at 251 hp and 390 Nm, with four-wheel drive. Its listed prices of 144,900–159,900 yuan are reduced to 119,900–134,900 yuan under the promotion. The T1 Plus C-DM plug-in hybrid is discounted to 124,900–141,900 yuan from a list range of 129,900–149,900 yuan.

The PHEV combines a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a dedicated hybrid transmission and a 26.6 kWh battery. Jetour claims 150 km of electric-only travel under the CLTC test cycle and a combined petrol-electric range of 1,300 km. The system also supports 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load output.

The T1 has a squared-off, off-road-inspired design and measures 4,749 mm long in standard form; the Plus stretches to 4,796 mm. Cabin equipment includes a 15.6-inch 2.5K display, voice functions linked to DeepSeek and iFlytek Spark, and, on higher grades, Chery’s Falcon 500 driver-assistance package.
