Autoblog Argentina has completed a two-week, 2,000-kilometer test of the Leapmotor B10 in Argentina. The car served as transport for part of the team during the Expo Auto Chino in Buenos Aires, then made a longer trip to Bahía Blanca. The outlet says its full review will follow next week; this initial article does not yet give driving impressions or test results.

The B10 is listed at $31,990 and has an 18.8-kWh battery, an electric motor rated at 215 hp and 240 Nm, and plug-in range-extender hybrid powertrain. For comparison, the larger Leapmotor C10 is priced at $35,500. Stellantis imports the brand in Argentina, giving Leapmotor access to a network of more than 100 dealerships, according to the article.

Leapmotor’s local lineup is expected to expand beyond the B10 and C10. The company confirmed the imminent arrival of the B03X at the Expo Auto Chino and previewed the B05 and C16; the article identifies all three as battery-electric vehicles. Stellantis is also promoting a shorter name, “Leap,” for the Chinese brand. The B10 test is the outlet’s second Leapmotor evaluation after its earlier review of the C10.
