Leapmotor has previewed the A10s, a black-and-red-styled version of its A10 electric SUV, in images posted to Weibo on October 14. The company has not disclosed its price, expected sales date or powertrain specifications, so it is not yet clear whether the changes go beyond appearance and cabin equipment.
The teaser shows a black exterior, dark-gray branding, a red “S” badge at the rear and 18-inch black wheels. Inside, the A10s has a gray cabin, suede-and-synthetic-leather seats with red stitching and embroidery, ventilated front seats and ambient lighting for rear passengers.
The announcement comes as A10 deliveries eased to 24,457 in September, down 24.08% from August’s 32,214, according to figures compiled by CnEVPost. The SUV still represented 23.15% of Leapmotor’s September deliveries. Since its China launch on March 26, the A10 has accumulated 153,423 deliveries through September. Its launch prices ranged from 65,800 yuan to 86,800 yuan. The existing model uses a 90 kW motor and is offered with 39.8 kWh or 53 kWh batteries, for claimed CLTC ranges of 403 km and 505 km; whether the A10s shares these specifications is unknown.
