Chery sub-brand Lepas has revealed the Aura concept in China, presenting it at Global Elegance Night during the inaugural Global Elegant Lifestyle Week. The concept is intended to preview the brand’s future design direction and electrified vehicles. The article, posted on October 23, 2026, reports no production schedule or technical specifications for the Aura.
Chief designer Ivan Dulanović says the design follows a “Natural Energy” principle, with the team drawing on the movement and muscular form of a leopard. The car has a long wheelbase, short overhangs and a wide stance, alongside pronounced shoulders and body-integrated air channels. Its glossy, porcelain-inspired finish is intended to emphasize the sculpted surfaces, while the Leopard headlamps are described as a signature element for future production models.
The concept’s front combines the grille and side intakes into a single black surface that can display lighting patterns, animations and customized graphics. A rear display panel lets drivers personalize the taillamp graphics. Lepas also showed three landscape-inspired finishes: Dawn Pearl, Bacalar Blue and Provence Twilight. The company says the concept’s design features and technology will influence its next generation of electrified production vehicles.
