Li Auto introduced the 2026 Li i6 in China on October 28, with a listed price of 249,800 yuan (about US$37,300) and a temporary launch price of 239,800 yuan (about US$35,800). That is 10,000 yuan below the current i6, and the updated model does not use CATL batteries.
Hardware changes include adaptive driving beam headlights and Li Auto’s Mach M100 chip for driver-assistance functions, alongside a Qualcomm 8797 chip for the cabin. The SUV adds two zero-gravity front seats and an electric front trunk; Li Auto says existing owners will be offered a paid retrofit for the trunk, with further information expected in December. Other cabin equipment includes a 29-inch 6K front display, a 21-inch 4K rear screen and a refrigerator that can cool to -6°C.
The i6 retains its fastback shape and measures 4,950 mm long, 1,935 mm wide and 1,655 mm tall, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Mint Green and Purple join the color choices, and the door handles are now semi-hidden. Power comes from a self-developed 96 kWh Lianshan 5C battery. Buyers can choose a 250 kW single-motor version or an all-wheel-drive setup with 150 kW up front and 250 kW at the rear. CLTC range is 780 km for the rear-wheel-drive model and 710 km for all-wheel drive, compared with 720 km previously for the rear-drive i6.
