Chinese premium marque Luxeed plans to take six new-energy vehicles into overseas markets, with its staged expansion due to start in 2027. The initial focus is expected to include right-hand-drive countries and the Middle East. Australia is tipped as a possible early market; Malaysia is another possibility, though neither is confirmed in the report.
The first two global models will be the RX SUV and V9 MPV, renamed Stormax and LLounge respectively. Luxeed says the six vehicles will span three product lines and offer up to three types of powertrain. The other four are crossovers with provisional names 3, 5, 7 and 9; they are described as more luxury-oriented than the Stormax. Luxeed, established in 2023 as a Chery-Huawei joint venture and part of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, currently sells four electrified models in China.
In China, the RX costs 259,800–389,800 yuan and is a five-seat battery-electric SUV. Its 800-volt system supports 81-kWh LFP or 100-kWh NMC batteries, with CLTC range figures of 672–852 km. The V9, priced at 389,800–519,800 yuan, is a seven-seat range-extender MPV. Its 53.4-kWh battery provides 285 or 305 km of electric-only driving, while claimed combined range is 1,230 or 1,320 km, depending on version.
The other current models are the R7 SUV and S7 sedan. The R7 is priced at 239,800–319,800 yuan and offers rear- or all-wheel drive, with CLTC range of 705–855 km. The S7 costs 229,800–289,800 yuan and has the same stated range band. The article does not give overseas prices or launch dates for individual models.
