Lynk & Co has announced its entry into Colombia, where it will be represented by automotive retailer Casa Toro. The Geely Group brand plans to offer four electrified models: the 01, 02, 08 and 900. The company says its Colombian vehicles will broadly follow its European offering, but will confirm versions, equipment, range and pricing at the commercial launch.

The 01 is a front-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid rated at 276 hp and 535 Nm, with up to 75 km of WLTP electric range. The all-electric 02 has a 66 kWh battery, 268 hp and a claimed WLTP range of up to 435 km. The larger 08 plug-in hybrid is listed with up to 200 km of electric range and more than 1,000 km of combined range; it supports 85 kW fast charging.

At the top of the range, the six-seat 900 is a 5.24-metre plug-in hybrid SUV. Its China-market versions pair a 1.5- or 2.0-litre turbo engine with electric motors, with outputs reaching 872 hp and 1,248 Nm. The article cites up to 280 km of CLTC electric range for the model.

Founded in 2016, Lynk & Co has a design centre in Gothenburg and operates in more than 30 countries and regions. The brand highlights Swedish-influenced design and safety; the 01, 02 and 08 have each received five-star Euro NCAP ratings. Casa Toro, which the article says has more than 90 years in the automotive business, will support the Colombian operation.
