A Mexican-market buying guide lists 11 hybrids priced from MXN 377,900 to MXN 574,900. It covers both self-charging hybrids and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), whose larger batteries can be recharged from an external power source. The least expensive is the MG3 Hybrid+ at MXN 377,900; its combined output is 191 hp, and MG quotes average fuel consumption of 22.7 km/l. The Changan Eado Plus, at MXN 439,900, is a PHEV with up to 120 km of electric range and a claimed combined range of 1,180 km.

Other entries include the Toyota Yaris HEV (MXN 450,000; up to 27 km/l claimed), MG ZS Hybrid+ (MXN 455,000), Toyota Corolla HEV (MXN 524,400) and BYD King (MXN 524,900). The King’s GL version is listed with 50 km of electric range, while a larger-battery version is said to reach 170 km. The MG HS Hybrid+ and Toyota Prius are also priced close to MXN 525,000; Toyota quotes up to 31.12 km/l for the Prius.

Rounding out the list are the GWM Haval Jolion Híbrida Premium at MXN 535,900, Geely EX5 EM-i at MXN 569,990 and ORA 5 Híbrido at MXN 574,900. The guide says the Geely PHEV can travel up to 105 km on electricity. Its Jolion entry describes a gasoline engine but does not clearly specify the hybrid system, so its powertrain details are ambiguous in the article.
