Pakistan’s Nishat Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese premium new-energy vehicle brand Luxeed, creating a possible route into the Pakistani market. The MoU was signed in Wuhu, China, with support from Chery Group. It is not yet a product launch: Nishat has announced no first model, launch timing, Pakistan pricing or local production plan.
Luxeed was established by Chery and Huawei and debuted in China in 2023. Chery is responsible for vehicle engineering and manufacturing, while Huawei supplies technology including the smart cockpit, driver-assistance systems and retail tools. The brand now lists four models: the S7 sedan, R7 coupe-SUV, V9 luxury MPV and RX SUV. Chinese-market starting prices cited in the report range from 229,800 yuan for the S7 to 389,800 yuan for the V9; these are not indications of potential Pakistan prices. Claimed CLTC range reaches 855 km for the S7, around 800 km for the R7 BEV and 852 km for the RX. The V9 is an extended-range seven-seater with a claimed combined range above 1,200 km in some versions.
China remains Luxeed’s main market. Its overseas expansion is at an early stage: a dealer agreement with UAE-based Omeir Bin Youssef Group was signed in 2026, ahead of a planned UAE entry in 2027. In Pakistan, potential rivals include AVATR, XPeng and Zeekr; the article cites local prices of Rs. 1.45–1.85 crore for the XPeng G6 and Rs. 2.5–2.7 crore for the Zeekr 7X. Nishat’s next decisions will include which Luxeed model to bring and whether to import it or pursue local assembly.
