Omoda & Jaecoo has introduced the 2027 Omoda E5 in Brazil, where the electric SUV will be offered in Elite and Prestige grades. Dealership arrivals are planned for November 5, 2026. Initial-batch prices are R$149,990 for the Elite and R$179,990 for the Prestige. The Elite’s introductory price is R$59,010 below its previous price, according to the report. Once the launch allocation is gone, the prices rise to R$159,990 and R$184,990, respectively.

The updated E5 receives revised front and rear styling, including a redesigned grille, an X-Bumper front bumper and new rear light graphics inspired by the Omoda 7. It also gets new 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, full-LED lighting and an electrically operated sunroof. A new permanent-magnet synchronous motor produces up to 210 hp; Omoda claims energy-conversion efficiency of up to 98.5%. The SUV reaches 100 km/h from rest in 7.2 seconds. It measures 4.55 metres long, has a 2.63-metre wheelbase and provides 372 litres of luggage space.

The Elite pairs a 50.6-kWh battery with DC fast charging rated at 110–130 kW, enabling a 30-to-80% charge in as little as 16 minutes. Its equipment includes a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seven airbags and a driver-assistance suite with 15 functions. The Prestige uses a larger 60.9-kWh battery and adds electrically adjustable, heated, ventilated and massage-equipped front seats, an eight-speaker Sony audio system and a powered tailgate with a hands-free sensor.
