Omoda & Jaecoo demonstrated autonomous parking and smart-cabin technology at its 2026 International User Summit in Wuhu, China. From October 19 to 21, the company tested its Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) system, which is designed to let vehicles move through controlled environments with less direct involvement from the driver.
The demonstrations used the JAECOO 5, JAECOO 7 and OMODA C7. Following routes planned by the system, the vehicles travelled to designated pickup points and tackled dead ends, tight spaces and obstacles. The system was shown detecting its surroundings, working out paths and adjusting vehicle movements to complete the manoeuvres. Omoda & Jaecoo presented the technology as a way to address everyday parking difficulties, including in large car parks and confined spaces.
The company also showed its SIAS smart-cabin system in the OMODA C4. SIAS supports voice control of vehicle functions, can carry out several actions from one instruction and can suggest music based on a user’s expressed mood.
The demonstrations were conducted in China and do not confirm that either technology is currently available or will be fitted to models sold in Chile. The company did not announce a rollout schedule.
