Wuling has no plans to discontinue the Air EV in Indonesia, even as buyers show stronger interest in the newer Aira EV. Marketing director Ricky Christian said production of the smaller Air EV is continuing, with output adjusted to reflect local demand. He made the comments at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta.
Wuling is giving the Aira EV greater production priority for now, as it works to supply customers who have already placed orders. By September 2026, the model had received more than 5,000 orders, and around 2,500 vehicles had been delivered. The Long Range version accounts for roughly 80% of orders, according to Christian.
The Aira EV’s price has not changed, although Wuling will continue to review pricing possibilities for next year. The company’s production plans for the Air EV will depend on how demand develops, while production of both electric models remains underway.
