Brazil’s October hybrid sales ranking featured the BYD Atto 2 in the top 10 for the first time. In its first full month on sale, the model recorded 2,274 registrations, placing sixth in figures attributed to JATO Dynamics. It finished ahead of the Jaecoo 7, with 2,208, and the BYD King, with 2,205. The Jeep Avenger took ninth with 1,931, while the Geely EX5 rounded out the top 10 with 1,238.
GWM’s Haval H6 retained first place, recording 5,792 registrations during October’s 31 days. That was more than twice the 2,831 units posted by the second-place BYD Song Pro. The Omoda 5 ranked third with 2,718, giving Chinese-brand SUVs the top three positions. Toyota’s Yaris Cross was the highest-ranked model from a non-Chinese brand, in fourth with 2,413; the BYD Song Plus followed in fifth with 2,317.
Other notable entries included the GWM Haval H7 in 15th with 962 registrations, the Leapmotor C10 in 16th with 937, and the Denza B5 in 19th with 577. The GWM Haval H6 2027 was also advertised in four versions priced from R$199,900 to R$290,000, though those prices are separate from October’s registration data.
