Perodua QV-E gets a Malaysia Day RM10,000 rebate: from RM53,499 with battery subscription, RM77,499 outright

Perodua is marking Malaysia Day with a limited-unit RM10,000 cash rebate on its QV-E electric hatch, dropping the entry point to RM53,499 for buyers on the battery-as-a-service plan, or RM77,499 for those who want to own car and battery together.

Because this is a rebate rather than a formal price revision, the terms set in June carry over: BaaS subscribers get unlimited-mileage battery coverage with a guaranteed minimum 70% state of health, while outright buyers receive an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty on the same SoH floor. Customers already on BaaS cannot switch to full ownership — they would need to sell or trade in their car and buy a new unit.

This is the second round of price relief for the model this year. After launching at RM80,000 in December 2025, it was cut to RM69,999 in June, with the BaaS monthly fee trimmed to RM215 over nine years; a separate RM6,500 promo later brought the BaaS figure to RM63,499, and July saw early buyers refunded the difference. Outright-purchase pricing followed a similar path, from RM93,999 down to RM87,499.

On specs, the QV-E pairs a 204 PS/285 Nm front motor with a 52.5 kWh gross CATL LFP pack, delivering 370 km of WLTP range and a 7.5-second 0-100 km/h time, with DC charging capped at 60 kW.
