Wuling says its Aira EV received more than 5,000 orders in Indonesia through September 2026, within its first three months on the market. About 2,500 vehicles—roughly half of those ordered—had been delivered, according to Wuling Motors marketing director Ricky Christian, who spoke at PEVS 2026. The long-range version accounts for around 80% of orders. Wuling has not confirmed whether the car’s price will change next year, citing currency movements, material costs and possible tax changes as factors it is monitoring.

The Aira EV is built at Wuling’s plant in Cikarang, West Java. Its current local-content level is 40%, and the company is targeting 60% from next year. The four-door, four-seat city car measures 3,268 mm long, 1,550 mm wide and 1,575 mm tall, with a 2,190 mm wheelbase. It has a 30 kW electric motor and a 25.1 kWh battery, with a claimed range of up to 300 km under the CLTC test cycle.

Cabin equipment includes a 10.1-inch multimedia screen with smartphone connectivity and a 7-inch instrument display. Safety and driver-assistance equipment listed includes two airbags, tire-pressure monitoring, hill-hold control, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors and camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto vehicle hold. The Aira EV shares a compact-car design approach with the smaller Air EV but adds four doors and seating for four.
