Voyah's Dream 9 flagship MPV launches September 22 with up to 701 km of range

Voyah, the premium NEV arm of Dongfeng, has confirmed a September 22 market debut for its Dream 9 flagship MPV. Pre-sales are already underway at 429,900–529,900 yuan (roughly 63,200–77,900 USD), and the brand says it collected more than 30,000 refundable orders in the first 48 hours.

The front end carries a vertical-slat chrome grille, a retractable illuminated hood badge, and Huawei Xpixel projection headlights. Inside, the HarmonySpace6 cabin centers on second-row seats that rotate, recline into a zero-gravity mode, and massage, complemented by a fridge, folding screens, and tray tables, with adaptive dimming glass fitted to both rear rows. Driver assistance runs on Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5.0, fed by 37 sensors — including an 896-line LiDAR and three solid-state units — on an L3-ready architecture.

Both powertrains share an 800V platform with 5C charging that restores 20–80% in 12 minutes. The plug-in hybrid pairs a 1.5T engine with dual motors for a combined 555 kW (744 hp) and up to 300 km of WLTC electric range from a 65 kWh pack, while the battery-electric version uses a 120 kWh ternary battery for 701 km CLTC (568 km WLTP) from motors rated at 175 kW and 300 kW.

Every variant rides on the new "Huju P" chassis, billed as China's first independently developed intelligent chassis engineered specifically for flagship MPVs; it adds three-chamber air suspension, dual-valve EDC dampers, and standard 10° rear-wheel steering. The Dream line is Voyah's best seller, with the all-electric version alone moving 5,769 units in China in August.
