Wuling’s Aira EV starts at around Rp 150 million on the road in Jakarta, and the company has no near-term plan to increase its price. Wuling Motors Marketing Director Ricky Christian said the 2027 pricing decision is still under review, with currency movements, material costs and possible annual tax changes among the factors the company is monitoring. He discussed the matter at the 2026 Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS).
The four-seat electric car is locally produced at Wuling’s factory in Cikarang, West Java, and currently has a domestic component level of 40%. Wuling aims to raise that figure to 60% from 2027. Through September 2026, the company had recorded more than 5,000 orders over three months and delivered about 2,500 vehicles. The Long Range version accounted for roughly 80% of orders.
The Aira EV has a 30 kW electric motor and a 25.1 kWh battery, with a claimed range of up to 300 km under the CLTC test cycle. It measures 3,268 mm long, 1,550 mm wide and 1,575 mm high, with a 2,190 mm wheelbase. Equipment includes a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch digital instrument display, two airbags, stability control, hill-hold assistance and rear parking aids.
