Xiaomi kicks off Skynomad EREV SUV deliveries across 75 Chinese cities as Lei Jun greets first owners

Xiaomi has started handing over its Skynomad extended-range SUVs to customers, with the initial rollout spanning 75 cities. CEO Lei Jun made personal appearances at handover gatherings in Shanghai and Xuzhou, in Jiangsu province, opening doors and presenting keys to new owners.

Four variants are on offer across the two body styles. The five-seat N70 Pro opens the range at 209,900 yuan (about 31,300 USD), while the flagship seven-seat N90 Max Explorer Edition, which comes with a built-in electric folding tent, lists at 299,900 yuan (44,100 USD). Extras like a 10,000-yuan rear projector or 6,000-yuan powered side steps can push prices higher.

Both models use a 1.5L turbocharged range extender supplied by Harbin Dongan, a Changan subsidiary, and are said to need servicing only every three years or 30,000 km. Battery supply splits between Sunwoda (52 kWh in the entry N70 Pro) and CALB (76 kWh elsewhere), giving 351–505 km of CLTC electric range depending on trim and a maximum combined range of 1,705 km. Every version can fast-charge from 20 to 80 percent in 18 minutes.

Flexible packaging is the core selling point: rail-mounted seats and a movable fridge, swivelling front chairs in the N70, and 11 cabin configurations in the three-row N90 add up to what Xiaomi describes as an "SUV shape with an MPV cabin". All trims carry a roof LiDAR and a 700 TOPS Nvidia Thor-U chip enabling urban and highway Navigate on Autopilot, while dual-chamber air suspension is standard everywhere except the base N70 Pro.
