The 2027 BYD Dolphin Mini has begun arriving at dealerships in Brazil with a series of modest updates, according to dealers and social-media accounts that have shown the cars. The reported changes apply to the top-spec GS; its price is expected to remain R$119,990. Updates have not been confirmed for the entry-level GL, which is priced at R$118,990.

The GS gains a redesigned rear spoiler with an open section around the brake light, matching the version sold in Europe. Its 16-inch wheels now have a dark finish instead of the previous diamond-cut look, and the tires switch from 175/55 R16 Hankooks to Pirelli Cinturato P6s in 185/55 R16—a 10 mm increase in width. The new tires are also described as more widely available in stores. A new Time Grey body color joins the options, while the cabin receives lighter shades on the seats and other trim. The wheels are shared with the Dolphin Surf.

Powertrain and range figures are unchanged. The electric motor produces 75 hp and 13.8 kgfm of torque, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 14.9 seconds and a top speed of 130 km/h. The GS retains a 38.88 kWh battery and 280 km of Inmetro-rated range; the GL has a 30.08 kWh battery and a 224 km rating.
