BYD has begun distributing the updated 2027 Dolphin Mini in Brazil, but dealerships currently have only the GS version, priced at R$119,990. The entry-level GL is listed at R$109,990 but had not reached stores when the report was published on October 13, 2026.
The most practical change is a switch from Hankook 175/55 R16 tires to wider Pirelli 185/55 R16 rubber. The update also brings a reshaped rear spoiler, dark-finished wheels and a new Light Grey exterior color. Inside, buyers can choose lighter upholstery and trim alongside the existing black-and-dark-blue scheme. The car otherwise retains its earlier dimensions: 3.80 meters long, 1.70 meters wide and 1.58 meters tall, with a 2.50-meter wheelbase and a 230-liter trunk. Rear-seat space remains limited, and there is no spare tire.
Both trims keep a front electric motor rated at 75 hp and 13.8 kgfm, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 14.9 seconds. The GS has a 39 kWh battery and an Inmetro-rated range of 280 km; the GL uses a 30 kWh pack and is rated for 224 km. DC fast-charging capacity is 40 kW for the GS and 30 kW for the GL, while both accept AC charging at 6.6 kW. The next-generation Dolphin Mini, recently shown in China, is expected to reach Brazil around mid-2028.
