Pakistani automotive site PakWheels has published a first look at the Arcfox T1, a compact battery-electric hatchback being brought to the country by Sazgar Engineering, BAIC’s local partner. The car is described as larger than popular local options such as the Suzuki Swift and Kia Stonic. Its exterior features LED lighting, alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof.

Sazgar intends to offer two versions, with the same motor and battery setup but different driver-assistance and comfort equipment. Both use a 42.4-kWh lithium-ion battery. The claimed range is up to 400 km on the CLTC cycle, while the article gives 310 km as a WLTP figure and a real-world estimate. AC and DC charging are supported, and the car has vehicle-to-load capability. PakWheels also highlights an 8.8-inch driver display, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, heated and ventilated front seats, and a flat-folding front-seat arrangement.

The top trim is expected to include Level 2 assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance and forward-collision warning, along with 360-degree cameras. The T1 is ready for a local rollout, but formal pricing and bookings have not been announced while updates to Pakistan’s EV policy draft are pending. It is expected to arrive first as a fully imported vehicle, with local assembly a possibility if government incentives support it. The article says battery and vehicle warranties are expected to run for eight and six years, respectively, and city test drives are planned in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Multan.
