BYD has released a teaser for the Yangwang Altior, a flagship luxury sedan due to make its world debut in Dubai on November 5, 2026. The car is expected to cost around US$300,000, equivalent to CLP 295,740,000 in the source’s figures. It measures 5,500 mm long and has a 3,300 mm wheelbase.
In export markets, the model will be sold as the Altior. Its design is said to draw on the Yangwang U8 SUV, including a long hood, large chrome-finished wheels and rear doors that open in the opposite direction to the front doors. The front styling reportedly takes inspiration from an old Chinese vessel with two handles and two legs.
The Altior is positioned against China’s Maextro S800, developed by Huawei, as well as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Rolls-Royce Ghost. At 5,500 mm, it is reported to be 100 mm longer than the Ghost. Four electric motors and a hydraulic suspension system have been mentioned as possibilities, but those details remain speculative.
