A Luxeed R7 electric coupe-SUV has been seen on a Malaysian highway wearing full-body camouflage, following earlier sightings of undisguised examples. The latest vehicle had a standard Malaysian registration plate rather than a trade plate; its slim headlights and full-width rear light remained visible. The sighting was shared in a video on Threads.

Malaysia’s road-transport department data showed nine Luxeed R7 registrations from September 10 to 17, including six on September 17. All were recorded as EVs, and the cars appeared in four colours. The registrations and latest road sighting suggest local activity, but neither Chery nor Huawei has announced a Malaysian launch for the brand.

Luxeed is operated by Chery and Huawei under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance. Chery develops and builds the vehicles, while Huawei provides software, driver-assistance systems and other technology. The R7 is 4,956 mm long, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase, and uses an 800-volt platform. In China, it is available with a 292 PS rear motor or a 496 PS dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup.
