Changan has added the Q05 compact electric SUV to its Singapore line-up, with an exclusive launch price of S$174,999. The brand describes the Q05 as China’s best-selling model in its segment, reporting more than 100,000 units sold. Singapore visitors can see the vehicle at The Car Expo on 24–25 October 2026.
The five-seat SUV measures 4,435 mm in length. Its boot holds 450 litres, expanding to 1,380 litres with the rear seats folded, and a separate 90-litre storage compartment sits beneath the floor. Cabin equipment includes a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.17-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice control and a 50W wireless phone charger. Ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof with a powered sunshade and 256-colour ambient lighting are also listed.
A front-wheel-drive electric motor produces 99 kW, or 135 PS, and 190 Nm. It draws power from a 51.9 kWh LFP battery. Changan quotes a WLTP combined range of 394 km and a city range of up to 566 km. The Q05 supports DC charging at up to 90 kW, with a 30-to-80 per cent charge taking about 25 minutes. The launch adds another Cat A electric SUV choice to Singapore’s market.
