Deepal has opened reservations in Argentina for the S05, a C-segment plug-in hybrid SUV and the Chinese brand’s first model for the local market. Grupo Antelo presented the vehicle at Expo Auto Chino in Buenos Aires, held from October 2 to 4, 2026. The promotional preorder price is USD 34,000, with the reservation campaign running through October and retail sales expected to start before year-end.

Deepal is Changan Group’s premium and digitally focused marque. The S05 measures 4.62 metres long, 1.90 metres wide and 1.60 metres tall, with a 2.88-metre wheelbase. The stated combined output is 218 CV and 320 Nm, driving the front wheels through a single-speed automatic transmission. A 18.4-kWh battery provides a claimed electric-only range of up to 100 kilometres; AC charging is rated at 6.6 kW.

The Argentina specification includes a 15.4-inch touchscreen with 2.5K resolution, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver-assistance systems. The vehicle also has six airbags and a 540-degree surround-view camera system. Grupo Antelo quotes a seven-year or 150,000-kilometre vehicle warranty, and an eight-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty for the battery.
