Changan has detailed the Russian-market specification of the Uni-Z, a crossover announced for the country in late October. Sales are expected to begin soon, although the company has not disclosed prices. Russian buyers will be offered two trims, called Luxury and Techno, and both use the same powertrain.
The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder produces 147 hp and 280 Nm, and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The crossover is front-wheel drive, and its engine can run on AI-92 gasoline. The Russian version measures 4,718 mm long, with a 2,780 mm wheelbase and 179 mm of ground clearance. Luggage capacity is 638 liters, rising to 1,425 liters with the rear seatbacks folded.
Luxury equipment includes 19-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, heated steering wheel and all seats, a 10.25-inch instrument display, a 14.6-inch multimedia screen, surround-view cameras and driver-assistance features including adaptive cruise control and automatic braking. Techno adds 20-inch wheels, front-seat ventilation, wireless phone charging, an eight-speaker audio system and rear cross-traffic and blind-spot warnings. The Uni-Z has been sold in China since 2024; it was originally an Oshan model before Changan moved it into its main-brand lineup. The China-market version has since received updates, while the Russian model is the earlier version.
