Changan is preparing to add the Uni-Z crossover to its Russian range. The company has yet to disclose when sales will begin or how much the model will cost in Russia. The five-door SUV has a coupe-like profile, and the announced Russian-market version will come with one powertrain configuration.
That setup pairs a 1.5-liter Blue Core turbocharged petrol engine, rated at 147 hp and 280 Nm, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine can use 92-octane petrol, and drive is exclusively to the front wheels. The Russian version is listed at 4,718 mm long, 1,880 mm wide and with a 2,780 mm wheelbase. Its ground clearance is 179 mm; luggage capacity is 638 liters, rising to 1,425 liters with the rear seatbacks folded.
The cabin is specified with a 14.6-inch infotainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims are expected to offer ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof, Sony audio and wireless phone charging. Listed winter equipment includes heating for the windscreen, front and second-row seats, and steering wheel, along with remote engine start.
The Uni-Z first appeared in China in spring 2024 as an updated version of the Oshan Z6. Its Chinese-market engine produces 192 hp and 310 Nm, while the Russian-market announcement gives lower output. In China, the crossover currently costs 115,900–124,900 yuan, equivalent to about 1.4–1.5 million rubles at the exchange rate cited by the source.
