Chery is preparing a wide range of launches for Italy through 2028 as it builds a multi-brand presence across different vehicle sizes and price brackets. Chery Italy began operating in October 2026, following Omoda and Jaecoo’s Italian arrival in July 2024. The plans include products from Lepas, Omoda, Jaecoo, iCAUR and the Chery marque; some timings and specifications remain projections.

Among the earlier arrivals, the Lepas L6 is expected in the first months of 2027. Its plug-in hybrid version is described with 279 hp and an 18.4-kWh battery, with an estimated electric range of about 90 km; a full hybrid and an EV are also planned. The Omoda 4 is due in January 2027 as a 224-hp full hybrid, with a 204-hp electric version using a 61-kWh battery and an estimated 450-km range. An updated Omoda 5 is also expected that month, with 224-hp hybrid and 211-hp electric variants.

The iCAUR V27, a 5.05-metre range-extender SUV, is scheduled for spring 2027. Its 4WD version is rated at 449 hp and has a 34.3-kWh battery, with up to 156 km of electric driving claimed. Chery’s Q, planned for mid-2027, will be its first announced EV for Italy: a 4.19-metre hatchback with 122 hp, a 52-kWh battery and a stated range of 380 km.

Further out, Lepas L2 and Omoda X are expected in 2028. The report also flags possible Italian arrivals for additional Chery Group brands and models, including Tiggo SUVs, but provides no confirmed dates for several of them.
