Chery-owned iCAUR plans to enter Vietnam with two SUVs, the all-electric V23 and range-extender V27, by the end of 2026. The brand announced the plan on October 20 at its 2026 International User Summit in Wuhu, China. iCAUR says it is already present in more than 40 markets, and the two vehicles will begin its distribution plans in Vietnam. Both have been shown at local activities for media, dealer partners and prospective customers.

The V27 uses a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) system: electric motors drive the wheels, while a combustion engine generates electricity when needed. The vehicle can also be charged from an external power source or refueled, giving drivers an alternative when charging access is limited. Its design follows a boxy, classic-SUV look, and its interior received a luxury-car design award at the 2026 Turin Automotive Design Award.

The V23 is a battery-electric SUV with a similarly squared-off shape. iCAUR says it has earned a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating; the Super V23 concept was recognized at the 2026 Red Dot Award for Design Concept. Vietnam-specific prices, equipment and technical details for both models are still pending.

Separately, iCAUR introduced the V25 in China on October 19. The model offers REEV and battery-electric powertrains with i-AWD, completing the V-series lineup alongside the V23 and V27.
