BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao brand plans to launch the Ti 9 plug-in hybrid SUV in China after November 15, 2026. The company expects display and test-drive vehicles to reach dealerships in late October. The Shark plug-in hybrid pickup is scheduled to make its domestic debut in late November or early December, according to general manager Xiong Tianbo. Prices and trim details for both models have yet to be disclosed.
The six-seat Ti 9 will lead Fang Cheng Bao’s Ti series of unibody SUVs aimed at urban families. It measures 5,270 mm long and has a 3,130 mm wheelbase. Its hybrid system pairs a 1.5-litre turbo engine with two electric motors, for combined output of 400 kW (536 hp). A 66.48 kWh LFP battery is rated for 310 km of electric driving on the WLTC cycle; BYD claims more than 1,600 km of total range. Cabin features include independent second-row seats, a 30-inch front display and a fold-down 21.4-inch rear screen.
The China-market Shark is listed as a light-duty multipurpose truck, with a 5,457 mm body and 460 kg rated payload. Its 1.5-litre engine works with front and rear motors, whose combined peak output is 320 kW (429 hp). The domestic filing does not specify battery capacity or electric range. The Shark first appeared in Mexico in May 2024 and has since reached overseas markets. Fang Cheng Bao sold about 126,000 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, up 131% year on year.
