Flagship Tenet T9 SUV launches in Russia with pricing from 3.95 million rubles

Tenet, a newcomer to the Russian market created jointly by local holding AGR and China's Defetoo, has opened sales of its flagship T9 family crossover. The five-seater is offered in two grades: the entry Prime trim at 3,949,000 rubles and the top Ultra version at 4,299,000 rubles, excluding current promotions. Assembly follows a full-cycle process at a plant in the Kaluga region, and the first cars have already begun arriving at dealers.

Measuring 4,810 mm long on a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the T9 outsizes its smaller T8 sibling in every dimension. For now there is a single drivetrain: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four with 245 hp and 375 Nm, paired with a conventional eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The sprint to 100 km/h takes 9.3 seconds, top speed is 220 km/h, and combined consumption is rated at 9.4 L/100 km. A seven-seat variant will join the lineup later.

The Prime grade brings a 10.3-inch instrument display, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a panoramic roof with a sliding section, power front seats and an eight-speaker audio system. The Ultra adds seven airbags, a dozen driver-assist functions, ventilated and massaging front seats with four-way lumbar support, a head-up display, voice control and a 14-speaker setup, plus a 50-watt cooled wireless charger. Every car also carries a winter package covering heated seats, steering wheel and windscreen along with remote engine start.
