In Pakistan, the newly launched Chery Q is being compared with the Geely EX2, which Geely Pakistan displayed at its brand launch in Islamabad but has not yet officially released. The Q is priced at Rs 5,554,000 and is available for booking. Since local EX2 specifications and pricing remain unconfirmed, the comparison draws on the Thai-market top-spec MAX version; Pakistani equipment may differ.

On paper, the Q has a 42.7-kWh LFP battery and a claimed WLTP range of 340 km, compared with the EX2’s 39.4-kWh pack and 325 km. Both are rear-wheel drive and produce more than 300 km of stated WLTP range. The Q’s motor is rated at 90 kW (121 hp), against 85 kW (114 hp) for the EX2, and its quoted 0–100 km/h time is about 10–10.5 seconds versus 11.5 seconds. The EX2, however, has more torque: 150 Nm compared with 111 Nm.

The Q’s listed advantages include quicker DC charging (16.5 minutes versus 25), twice the EX2’s vehicle-to-load output, automatic climate control and parking assistance, plus 21 ADAS functions to the EX2’s 11. It also has a powered tailgate and heated mirrors. Both cars seat five and have a 375-liter boot, but the Q offers 1,450 liters of maximum cargo space with the rear seats folded, against 1,320 liters for the EX2.

The comparison concludes that the Q has the stronger equipment package, while the EX2 could be an appealing alternative if its Pakistani price is competitive. The article notes that the EX2 figures are for a Thai variant, so its final local specification—and how it stacks up against the Q—will depend on Geely Pakistan’s eventual offering.
