Geely Galaxy TT electric fastback goes on sale from 129,900 yuan with up to 725 km of range

Geely's Galaxy brand launched its new TT fastback electric sedan on Thursday with five variants priced from 129,900 yuan ($19,170) to 185,900 yuan. The entry price sits 16,000 yuan — roughly 11 percent — below the 145,900 yuan quoted at August pre-sales, and the base car's CLTC range has grown from 540 km to 640 km in the meantime.

Four of the five versions are rear-wheel drive: three 640-km trims at 129,900, 139,900 and 149,900 yuan, plus a 725-km flagship at 159,900 yuan. The Ultra adds dual-motor all-wheel drive for 185,900 yuan, well under its 209,800 yuan pre-sale figure, with a 650-km CLTC range. RWD cars pack a 245-kW single motor good for 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds; the Ultra's 425-kW setup cuts that to 3.8 seconds.

Hardware is uniform where it counts: every TT uses an 800-volt platform and CATL's customized Shenxing TT LFP batteries with 6C charging, needing just under 12 minutes to go from 10 to 80 percent. The 63.8-kWh pack serves the 640-km cars, while 725-km and Ultra variants carry 75.2 kWh. At 4,999 mm long with a 2,920-mm wheelbase, the sedan pairs a fastback roofline and active rear spoiler with aluminum double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension.

Every trim except the entry model gets LiDAR, running either the H5 driver-assistance stack on a Horizon Robotics J6M chip or the H7 on Nvidia's Thor-U, covering urban and highway navigation on autopilot as well as parking-space-to-parking-space driving. Inside are Flyme Auto 2 with the Super Eva AI agent, a 15.4-inch touchscreen, a 25.6-inch AR head-up display and a 23-speaker audio system. The launch comes as Galaxy anchors Geely at home: the sub-brand sold 119,115 vehicles in August while the parent's domestic sales fell about 25 percent year-on-year, offset by exports that more than tripled.
