GWM says the Haval H7 had attracted about 900 reservations with deposits paid before bookings opened to the general public in Brazil. The Chinese automaker’s local COO, Diego Fernandes, disclosed the figure in an interview during the SUV’s launch on October 7. Reservations began two days earlier and were initially available only to existing GWM customers, with a R$9,000 deposit. The H7 is priced at R$261,000.

Positioned between the Haval H6 and H9, the five-seat SUV combines a 1.5-liter flex-fuel turbo engine with two electric motors, one on each axle. GWM quotes total output of 370 hp and torque of 77 kgfm, with all-wheel drive, a 0–100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds and 220 mm of ground clearance. Its 27.5 kWh LFP battery provides up to 92 km of electric range under Brazil’s Inmetro measurement; charging is supported at up to 41 kW, and the vehicle can supply external devices through a 6 kW V2L function.

The H7 measures 4.80 meters long, has a 2.74-meter wheelbase and a 586-liter luggage compartment. It is sold in one configuration, with a 15.6-inch infotainment screen and a five-year, unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty. In São Paulo, its price is just below the state’s R$261,154.45 threshold for 2026 IPVA tax exemption for flex-fuel hybrids.
