GWM began taking pre-orders for the Haval H7 in Brazil on October 5, 2026, initially giving existing customers of the brand priority for vehicles in the first delivery batch. The SUV is due to become available to the wider public through GWM dealerships across the country on October 7.

The H7 combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged flex-fuel engine with a plug-in hybrid system. Its Hi4 architecture uses electric propulsion at both axles to provide electronically managed all-wheel drive, with drive modes intended for different types of terrain. The source does not provide power, electric range or pricing figures.

The model joins GWM’s Haval range in Brazil, where the H6 and H9 are already offered. The H6 is described as the brand’s Brazilian bestseller and is available in several locally assembled versions, including conventional hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants. The larger H9 is positioned as an off-road-focused flagship, with a plug-in hybrid diesel powertrain. The H7 adds another electrified SUV option, with a rugged design drawing inspiration from the H9.
