Hongqi has updated the H5 sedan in Russia, a market where the model is popular with corporate fleets and business-taxi operators. The changes are concentrated in the cabin, with modest exterior revisions; the powertrain is unchanged. The refreshed car is offered in a single Deluxe trim for 4,480,000 rubles, and the article says customers can place pre-orders through dealer Major.

The H5 measures 4,988 mm long, with a 2,920 mm wheelbase. Exterior updates include revised lighting details, adjusted bumpers, new wheel designs and a grille with illuminated side strips. Inside, the dashboard, steering wheel, center console and door panels have been redesigned. The central multimedia display grows from 12.6 to 15.6 inches and now supports wireless Apple CarPlay, while the instrument display shrinks from 12.3 to 10.25 inches. Physical controls remain on the center console.

Russian-market cars retain a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 218 hp and 340 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. Hongqi quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 7.8 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h. Equipment includes a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, ventilated front seats, a driver’s-seat massage function, surround-view cameras and driver-assistance systems. The H5 sold 3,722 units in Russia in 2025, up 44% year on year, according to the article.
