Li Auto presented its i6 battery-electric SUV at the 2026 Paris Motor Show on October 12, confirming that the model—called the Li 6 in Europe—is due to go on sale and begin deliveries in Norway and the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2027. The company expects to introduce it in additional European countries later. The schedule is later than the fourth-quarter 2026 sales start Li Auto had outlined in August.

The automaker also intends to bring extended-range vehicles to Europe, with hardware and software changes for local requirements. It has not identified those models or provided a launch date. Li Auto says it will focus on battery-electric vehicles in Europe, while its overseas extended-range push has so far included the Middle East and Central Asia. The company opened its first overseas R&D center in Munich in January 2025 and launched the L9 in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in July 2026.

Li Auto describes the i6 as its first battery-electric model developed for global markets, and says China deliveries have topped 190,000 in the year since launch. In China, the 2026 i6 is scheduled to launch on October 28, with deliveries expected in early November; that update is set to include an in-house 5C battery and Mach M100 driver-assistance chip. The European version was designed to meet Euro NCAP’s five-star safety standards, but has not yet received a formal rating. Li Auto delivered 31,817 vehicles in September, down 6.29% year on year.
