Li Auto will launch its updated i6 SUV in China on October 28, with customer deliveries expected to begin in early November. The 2026 model is due at dealerships on October 11 and is also set for an international debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12.
The update brings matrix headlights, an electrically operated front trunk with voice and knock-to-open functions, and front seats that recline up to 150 degrees. Cabin screens include a 29-inch 6K display at the front and a 21-inch 4K screen for rear passengers. Li Auto quotes a 780 km CLTC range, or 632 km under WLTP, from a 96 kWh battery.
The i6 will use Li Auto’s in-house battery system, with 5C cells made by Sunwoda and CALB to the company’s specifications and pack assembly handled in-house. It is the first i6 version to move entirely away from CATL batteries. Buyers can choose a 250 kW single-motor setup or a dual-motor configuration with 150 kW at the front and 250 kW at the rear.
The SUV measures 4,950 mm long and has a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Li Auto says the i6 accounted for about half of its 31,817 September vehicle sales, which fell 6.3% year on year and 15.6% from August.
