Li Auto has begun selling an updated version of the i6 electric SUV in China, less than a year after the model’s launch. The company introduced the refresh in early October. The i6 recorded 160,221 sales in China from January through September 2026, according to BestSellingCarsBlog. Prices remain unchanged: 249,800 yuan for the rear-wheel-drive version and 269,800 yuan for the all-wheel-drive model.
The exterior is largely unchanged, though the door handles are now semi-concealed and the color range has expanded. The SUV also receives matrix headlights, revised from the Li Mega minivan, and stands 1,655 mm tall—15 mm lower than before. Its length, width and wheelbase remain 4,950 mm, 1,935 mm and 3,000 mm respectively. A 724-liter luggage compartment is joined by a front storage compartment that can be opened by touch, voice command or app.
Inside, two 15.7-inch screens have been replaced by a single 29-inch display, while a head-up display takes over instrument duties. The front seats and massage function have been improved, and the electronics now use Qualcomm’s 8797 processor alongside Li Auto’s Mach 100 chip. The 800-volt SUV retains rear- or all-wheel drive, air suspension and its existing motors. A new 96-kWh battery raises CLTC range to 780 km for the 340-hp rear-drive model and 710 km for the 544-hp all-wheel-drive version, up from 720 and 660 km respectively with the previous 87.3-kWh CATL pack. Li Auto expects to bring the i6 to Europe next year, reportedly in its pre-update form.
