Li Auto has launched the 2026 i6, a five-seat electric SUV, in China. Its starting price remains 249,800 yuan (about $37,190), matching the 2025 model. Buyers who purchase by November 30 can receive a 10,000-yuan discount, bringing the price to 239,800 yuan. Orders are open, and Li Auto says some vehicles can be delivered within one to two weeks, ahead of the planned early-November start of deliveries.

The main hardware change is the standard fitment of Li Auto’s Mach M100 driver-assistance chip, replacing the previous Nvidia Thor-U. One M100 provides 1,280 TOPS of computing power, compared with 700 TOPS for the outgoing chip; an optional dual-chip setup raises that figure to 2,560 TOPS. The dual-chip package also adds three side- and rear-facing solid-state LiDAR sensors and sensor-activated powered front doors.

The battery is now Li Auto’s in-house 96-kWh Lianshan 5C lithium iron phosphate unit, up from 87.3 kWh. Claimed CLTC range is 780 km for rear-wheel drive and 710 km for all-wheel drive, gains of 60 km and 50 km respectively. The company also says a 10-minute charge can add about 500 km of range. Cabin updates include a Snapdragon 8797 cockpit chip, a 29-inch 6K panoramic display and standard zero-gravity front seats with power adjustment and massage.

The i6 first went on sale in September 2025. It delivered 7,379 units in September 2026, down 56.54% from August. Li Auto plans to introduce the model, called the Li 6, in Norway and the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2027, with further European markets to follow.
