Chery’s Luxeed brand has set out plans for six new-energy vehicles for global markets, organized into three product lines and offered with three powertrain options. The lineup includes the LLounge minivan, the Stormax SUV and four additional crossovers, provisionally named 3, 5, 7 and 9. Australia is among the first markets expected to receive Luxeed vehicles outside China.

The first two overseas-bound models are renamed versions of vehicles already sold domestically: the V9 minivan will be marketed as the LLounge, and the RX SUV as the Stormax. The four other crossovers are not part of Luxeed’s current China lineup and are being developed for global markets. The source says further details are due next year; BEV, PHEV and EREV are cited as likely powertrain choices, not confirmed specifications.

In China, the five-seat Stormax (RX) is priced from 259,800 to 389,800 yuan. It measures 5,020 mm long and has a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Its available batteries are 81.1, 100.25 and 100.42 kWh, with claimed CLTC ranges of 700–852 km. The LLounge (V9), a seven-seat minivan, starts at 389,800 yuan and uses an extended-range hybrid system; its stated CLTC electric range is 285–305 km.

Luxeed was established in 2023 as a Chery-Huawei joint project. The overseas expansion therefore extends an existing China-market brand and model range, while adding crossovers designed specifically for international buyers.
