Vietnam Innovative Mobility Show (VIMS) 2026 brought nearly 60 vehicles shortlisted across 12 Car Choice Awards categories together on October 3–4. Alongside the displays, visitors could test-drive cars and take part in interactive activities; organizers reported more than 2,000 test-drive registrations over the two days. The event gave attendees a chance to compare vehicles from several segments in person.

Lynk & Co’s 02 drew attention as a compact electric coupe-style SUV, with a sloping roofline and full-width rear light treatment. It has a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, a 268-hp electric motor and a 66-kWh battery, with prices starting at VND 818 million. Visitors also noted its seating comfort and suitability for urban trips. The larger Lynk & Co 900 was presented as a six-seat SUV measuring 5,240 mm long. Its cabin includes two 30-inch 6K displays, a 31-speaker Harman Kardon system and second-row seats that rotate 180 degrees.

The showcase also featured family-car finalists including the Mitsubishi Xpander, priced from VND 568 million and equipped with a 1.5-liter engine and seven seats. It recorded 9,542 sales in Vietnam during the first eight months of 2026, leading combustion-engine MPVs, and had October incentives worth about VND 67–95 million depending on trim. Other nominees ranged from the Honda City, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Stargazer and VinFast VF 5 to larger SUVs and MPVs. Geely EX2, Omoda C5, Jaecoo J5 and other vehicles represented additional design and technology categories.
