Lynk & Co has previewed an updated 08 EM-P plug-in hybrid SUV in China, with the refreshed 2027 model scheduled to debut on November 5. Teaser images show the mid-size SUV in a bright orange finish that is new to the lineup. The brand has not yet disclosed the official name of the colour or detailed specifications for the update.
The current 08 EM-P offers up to 230 km of CLTC-rated electric range from a 38.2 kWh LFP battery, equivalent to about 186 km under WLTP testing. Yiche reports that the update may extend that figure; a 300 km CLTC range is described as a possibility, not a confirmed specification. The current SUV is sold in China only as a plug-in hybrid, priced from 175,800 to 228,800 yuan (about US$26,400–34,300).
Existing front-wheel-drive versions combine a 1.5-litre turbo engine with a front electric motor, while the all-wheel-drive version adds a rear motor and produces a stated 456 kW (612 hp). September 2026 sales in China were 1,441 units, according to China EV DataTracker. The current model also comes with roof-mounted LiDAR and driver-assistance hardware; further details on whether these or the powertrain will change are not yet available.
