Lynk & Co’s 02 has made an early impression in Vietnam, earning four nominations at the 2026 Car Choice Awards after entering the market in August. The newcomer, described as a compact CUV, has received nearly 80,000 votes. Its nominations are for New Pure-Electric Vehicle of the Year, New Vehicle With Outstanding Equipment of the Year, Gen Z Car of the Year and Women’s Car of the Year.

The article highlights the 02’s coupe-inspired styling and technology-focused cabin, where many physical controls give way to a 15.4-inch, 2.5K central touchscreen. It also notes driver-assistance features including blind-spot monitoring, door-opening warnings and emergency collision-avoidance support. The nominations for younger drivers and women are linked to its distinctive design, compact dimensions and claimed ease of maneuvering in tight parking areas.

The 02 uses a 66 kWh battery and is listed with a 435 km range. DC fast charging at up to 150 kW takes the battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes, while AC charging is rated at 11 kW. Its rear-mounted electric motor produces 268 hp and 343 Nm, enabling a 0–100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds. Other cited equipment includes a head-up display, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon system, a panoramic roof and standard adaptive cruise control and traffic-jam assistance. The article presents the nominations as a promising start for the model in Vietnam’s shift toward electric cars.
