MG introduced the new-generation ZS in Vietnam on October 16, with a hybrid powertrain and a listed price of VND 668 million. The company is also offering VND 20 million in fuel support. Nationwide dealer availability began on launch day. MG says the SUV comes with a 10-year warranty and round-the-clock roadside assistance, and plans to add eight dealerships in Vietnam during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The ZS measures 4,430 mm long, 1,818 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall, with a 2,610 mm wheelbase. Its luggage compartment holds 443 liters, expanding to 1,457 liters with the rear seats folded. Cabin equipment includes a 12.3-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch driver display, heated front seats, a panoramic roof, wireless phone charging and automatic climate control with a PM2.5 filter.

The hybrid system pairs a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 101 hp with a 131-hp electric motor and a 1.83-kWh battery. Combined output is 145 kW, or about 197 hp, and power is delivered through a three-speed 3-eAT transmission. MG quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 8.7 seconds and combined fuel consumption of 4.53 liters per 100 km.

Safety and assistance equipment includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-support functions, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alerts, a 360-degree camera and six airbags. MG says the model has a five-star ANCAP rating. The ZS enters a segment that includes the Toyota Yaris Cross HEV, priced at VND 728 million, and the upcoming BYD Sealion 5; the source notes that real-world economy and driving performance remain to be verified in Vietnam.
