Omoda presented its 4 compact crossover at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, giving the model a broader public appearance in Europe ahead of a planned 2027 sales start. It will sit below the Omoda 5 in the brand’s European line-up and is aimed at the small crossover class, including rivals such as the Nissan Juke.

The European launch version is set to use Omoda’s SHS-H full-hybrid system: a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, an electric motor and a 1.83 kWh battery, driving the front wheels through a dedicated hybrid transmission. Omoda has also confirmed a fully electric version for a later stage. Full specifications, including output and EV battery details, have not yet been released.

According to Autocar, Omoda is targeting a starting price under £25,000 for the hybrid in the UK, where showroom arrivals are expected in early 2027. The company has not announced final prices or timings for other European markets. There is also a potential Pakistan launch: a camouflaged Omoda C4/4 EV was spotted testing in Lahore in September, and the company had previously indicated a 2026 introduction, but no local launch date or price has been confirmed.
