Omoda plans to bring the Omoda 4 to Brazil in 2027 as a hybrid-flex SUV, with pricing expected to range from R$139,990 to R$149,990. The model was tested in China, where the report describes a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor and a 1.83-kWh battery. The article’s main text puts combined output at 224 hp and 30.1 kgfm of torque, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 8.1 seconds. Its technical-specification box, however, lists 214 hp and different individual motor outputs, so the published power figures do not fully agree.
On a roughly 320-km drive with five occupants and a full luggage compartment, the Omoda 4 returned a reported 18.5 km/l on flat Chinese highways at 100–120 km/h. The article estimates a range of more than 885 km on one tank. It measures 4.42 meters long and has a 2.70-meter wheelbase—9 cm longer than the Omoda 5’s—while remaining very close in overall length. Rear legroom is generous, although the back-seat cushion is short; equipment on the tested version included a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control, 360-degree cameras and level-two driver assistance.
The suspension worked well on smooth Chinese roads, but the reviewer says it will need adjustment for Brazilian surfaces. Omoda expects the 4 to slot below the 5 and potentially become the range’s main seller, but the Chinese parent company has not settled on a final price. The plan differs from the model’s earlier positioning as a smaller rival to the Jeep Avenger and Volkswagen Tera.
